Our Story
Since 1994, our mission at Golden Eagle Trash Service has been simple: to provide high-quality service for our valued clients. Our team goes above and beyond to provide solutions that meet your solid waste and recycling needs. Through open communication and exceptional service, we hope you find what you’re looking for when you join our family.
Golden Eagle Trash Service was established in 1994 by Alphonse and Carolyn Taramarcaz. Servicing their neighbors in the Sargents and Pitkin area with a single truck, Golden Eagle has grown to become Gunnison County's premier independent waste collection provider.
As of June 2026, we are proud to announce that Golden Eagle Trash Service has transitioned into Bluebird Disposal, bringing an elevated level of commercial and residential waste management services to the area. The transition in name reflects the investments we are making to better serve our customers and the community, including upgrading our fleet with new equipment, launching single-stream recycling and commercial front-load services, and improving our billing, software, telephone, and telematic systems. We are excited about the future, and look forward to delivering dependable, modernized, and forward-thinking local waste solutions for your business and home for decades to come.
From our family to yours, thank you for choosing Bluebird Disposal.
